CMI asymmetric sintered metal filters feature a graded pore structure that combines coarse and fine filtration within a single element. This design provides higher permeability, lower pressure drop, and extended service life compared to conventional single-layer filters, making them ideal for high-flow and high-solids filtration applications.

Graded Porous Structure for High Efficiency and Extended Service Life
CMI asymmetric sintered metal powder filters are manufactured by co-sintering metallic powders of different particle sizes in a single high-temperature vacuum sintering process, forming a graded porous structure.
The outer layer features larger pores to capture coarse particles, while the inner layer provides finer pores for precision filtration. This creates a built-in two-stage filtration mechanism within a single filter element.
Compared to conventional single-layer sintered metal filters, the asymmetric structure delivers improved permeability, lower pressure drop, higher dirt-holding capacity, and longer service life.
These filters are particularly suitable for applications requiring both high flow rates and stable fine filtration performance.
