Porous Plastic Components

CMI porous plastic components are sintered PE, UHMWPE, and PTFE parts designed for filtration, venting, diffusion, and fluid management. With uniform pore structure, excellent chemical resistance, and flexible molding capability, they serve as reliable OEM solutions and cost-effective replacements for POREX® components.

Porous Plastic Components

Porous PE, UHMWPE and PTFE Components for Filtration, Venting, Diffusion and Flow Control

CMI manufactures a wide range of sintered porous plastic components for applications in medical devices, laboratory instruments, consumer products, industrial filtration, and gas–liquid management systems.

These components are produced from UHMWPE, PE, and PTFE using controlled sintering and molding processes, resulting in uniform pore structures, excellent chemical resistance, and high design flexibility.

CMI porous plastics are widely used as frits, breathers, filters, diffusers, wicks, silencers, restrictors, humidifier elements, and custom-molded parts, serving as cost-effective and high-performance alternatives to POREX® porous plastic components.

Custom manufacturing based on drawings or functional requirements is fully supported.
