CMI sintered metal spargers are high-performance gas diffusion devices manufactured using sintered metal powder technology. The precisely controlled pore structure generates fine and uniform bubbles, significantly improving gas–liquid mass transfer efficiency.
These spargers are widely used in oxygenation, ozone aeration, fermentation, degassing, and wastewater treatment applications, where efficient gas distribution and stable performance are required.
Available in multiple configurations—including discs, spheres, tubes, micro spargers, anti-blocking designs, and large aeration rings—CMI provides flexible solutions for a wide range of industrial systems.

Installation & Operation Guidelines
- Install horizontally for optimal gas distribution
- Recommended spacing: 5–10× sparger diameter (adjust based on tank depth)
- Avoid mechanical impact on porous surface
- Increase pressure gradually during startup
- Continuous operation helps reduce fouling
- Inspect for fouling before restart after shutdown
- Clean using suitable acids such as nitric, phosphoric, or acetic acid
- Avoid strong acids such as concentrated hydrochloric or sulfuric acid
- Dry with compressed air after cleaning
